Today was Sun-Day at Feedster. First, we received some of the new T2000 Niagra machines to benchmark against our Opteron-based "white boxes". This is way exciting, and I'm sure you'll hear more about how that testing goes as it progresses.
Then, at the end of the day, Scott McNealy, Sun's CEO, stopped by for a visit. Scott filled us in on some of Sun's plans - it was great to see him take time out of his incredibly busy schedule to spend time with a startup like ours. It shows Sun's commitment to serving a market that both Scott and Jonathan have acknowledged that they lost after the bubble.
